A Little About Us & Our Corn Snake Website

My name is Angel Fox and I am the proud owner of over 40 snakes, most of which are corn snakes. My husband Chris & I have been successfully breeding corn snakes for a few Years, and we are now going to see how we get on with breeding other species of snake, such as Royal Pythons and Sand Boas. Having a snake collection is great, and when my snakes produce babies, I can sell them with snake setups to raise money to pay for my adult snake's keep.

I have always had a passion for snakes, but it wasn't until I met Chris in 2001, that I would actually have the chance to own one. My first of many snakes was a baby corn snake which I named 'Izzy', I received him as a gift on my 40th birthday. During the following few Years, I purchased and re-homed many more snakes and eventually started my own corn snake breeding program.

In the summer of 2006, Chris purchased the 'cornsnake.co.uk' domain name for me, and I started to build a website all about these beautiful snakes, with information about corn snakes and how to care for them.

Parting with my collection of snakes

All was going well, but due to ill health I reluctantly decided to offer my entire collection of snakes to another breeder. This was completely heart-breaking for me, but probably better for my snakes as I was unable to care for them properly. This gave me time to "get well" and I even managed to control my diabetes, loose weight and stop being insulin dependant :)

Two Years later, I have finally overcome some of my health issues and I now feel fit enough to continue where I had previously left off. I purchased someone else's collection of corn snakes and I have been adding the occasional snake here and there. I regret parting with my first collection of snakes but felt at the time that it was the right thing to do.
